Public Transport Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Public Transport

Public transport

I knew well and wrote
Script for "Could Be"
My vastly changed "Movie."

"Why it changed? " is question
The hero is Arab and Muslim
The men that I approached rejected
Except one…:
All feared being shown in open!

Fear in Freedom?
What a shame! ! !

I faced the dilemma of my film
No ticket, no token and no cards
Without the exact change…
"How to pay? "
Unlike film's driver mine was just a monkey
Ignored me and my age, ‘senior'…,
He asked for the full fair; and I kept silence!
I drive my own car so using TTC came as fun
And had to use today…
To stay clear of marching Santa Claus
Roads closed, no parking, no passage
To go and help someone in shooting video…

Observing new things felt great!

The signs of sick, old age, are useless
And baby with balloon…
That flew, got stuck behind man
And she just wanted that
Did not care…

What a world is in bus
In subways and trains…

Video was for the music and exposed youngsters
How eager they are to show faces
For it they hug, flirt, dance and kiss; further
As long as screens show them as whatever! ! !
