Psalm 23 Rewritten

The Lord’s my Good Shepherd
I am His sheep that goes;
I’ve got to only follow Him
He meets my every need
He grazes me on pastures green
Feeding me succulent grass
I drink the water clear He gives
That satisfies my thirst
He guides me on the path aright
With His staff nudging me
He protects me from all evils
I need not fear a thing
I’ll not slip down the ledge at all
Or go astray, get lost
He blesses me in special ways
Amidst my many foes
He bestows me with abundance
That’s more than what I need.
And when I do the things His way,
He forgives my trespass
I know I will always dwell then
In Lord’s abode – Heaven.

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.

The Wind is hiding in the trees,
