Psalm 23 Retold Poem by Dr John Celes

Psalm 23 Retold

The Lord's my Shepherd; I'm His sheep;
He cares for me well; I needn't weep;
He meets my wants all; I've no needs;
In greenest pastures, I've my feeds.

The Lord's my Shepherd and my guide;
Whatever He says, I abide;
With staff by side, He stays awake;
He'll do anything for my sake.

The Lord's my Shepherd; I've no fear;
In times of danger, He is near;
His presence gives me comfort much;
He hugs me with a loving touch.

The Lord's my Shepherd, watching me;
My foes can't trouble me surely;
He raises me to lofty heights;
He shows me incredible sights.

The Lord's my Shepherd and I walk;
He gives me advice when I talk;
He has plans for my bright future;
I love to live in His pasture.
