The coronation of the Son-
The Holy consecration-
Jesus, the Lord's Anointed One-
Brought to exaltation.

The nations plot against Him,
The kings of the earth take their stand,
But the Lord ridicules the wicked man,
And to them, wrath he does command.

Upon a cross the Son of God was slain
But His body would not see decay-
Three days in the tomb, he laid,
But was resurrected on the third day!

The King of Kings
Whose reign shall never end.
Ascended and seated above angel wings-
The heir to the Heavenly Kingdom.

Be wise to serve with reverence
And rejoice in Him with trembling,
Find refuge in Him, our Mighty Fortress,
Or perish in your rebellion.
