Protected From Threats Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Protected From Threats

When truth to hear it is sought.
And finally found.
Hiding underground.
Yet promised it will be,
Protected from threats.
As a must to keep the speaker,
From being revealed.
With the best protection,
One fears to speak truth can expect.
This...
Does not represent a freedom of speech.
This...
Is an attempt to censor and keep,
Minds deluded and kept fantasized.
In the hopes that any truth,
Pursued to hear it heard.
Will stay depicted,
As the enemy of the people.
And if allowed to openly express,
Done to do produces dire mental defects.
Effectively that promises,
To eliminate the rights of the people.
Who are accustomed to being lied to and deceived.
As an entitlement to receive and worship!
