Private Dancer Poem by Jake Deeds

Private Dancer

Rating: 5.0

I watch..in silence..as you dance for me
Your movements..fluid..like water around
the slalom of rocks
And you dance...
And I am captivated...my senses aroused
And you dance...
To the rhythms in my head...and the currents of my soul
The noises around me fade to a darker gray
And you are beautiful...for my eyes only...
you dance
Your swaying and undulating is all consuming
I see you veins where the vibrance of life once flowed..
And I wonder...
How did life undercut you to this point..
You seem to blush with hues of red..
From my voyeuristic gaze
And with one last turn..
You set yourself free <><
