My pregnancy with you
I fell in love with your every move
with the sound of your heart beating
held your precious body in my arms
and took in your presence
nothing could prepare me for what lied ahead
nothing could prevent my heart from breaking
it had to be done
I tried to be strong but my strength failed
so hard to write my name
I cried, was thankful for all the memories
its a new beginning for you
the healing was beginning for me
time went on, I learned and grew as a person
my heart was healed, life was blessed
though days I do cry, ill never forget you
still, wonder about the person you will become
ill always have a love for you
only through the grace of God you were mine
he gave you to me, I blessed a family
