Praying Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Praying

Praying

She has come
(Professor)
In her bag; she's brought
(Our exams)

"It's too late..."
Cecilia says
"...to pray"

I smile
I connect day and night.

"Let's pray
Bosnia loses four to nil; to Iran."
Niece had prayed.

God and faith, prayers
Led by expected request
Are marching in my head
It is funny; and is fun.
I feel sad for the God.
