Praise For His Glory. Poem by dave lessard

Praise For His Glory.

How green the color of your pastures are
reflected brightly in the morning sun
how lovely shines the evening star
as silence announces that a day is done.
The universe is a vast array of light
the silver moon is luminous and glowing
Your handiwork is evident this night
the wonder of Your mighty hand is showing.
These are but glimpses of what lies ahead
more than our puny human mind conceives
more wonderful that any book we've read
more glorious that what we now believe.
We sing Your praises to the sky with song
give thanks to blessings all year through
knowing the choice between right and wrong
Your strong hand is in everything we do.
How blissful, the truths that You proclaim
how marvelous, the works that You inspire
how sweet it is, to know Your precious name
how pleasant, to know Your heart's desire.
