Porraimos Poem by Madrason .

Porraimos

Geo-phaged like locust
brought to hunger
misery and desolation
ate from pollution
a hand grenade
a hunger-implosion
of deserted souls
ate coals to look
like evil devils
so no one would dare them
and who would have heard them
whilst they hurt them
the sinews struck
the snares that broke
a long lost crying
so mortifying
an endless dying
for those whom
survived
a melody implying
recognition for these
harmful scars of conviction.
