Poets, Keep On Rhyming For Unity
On Election Day, Friends, keep on rhyming
Vote for the beautiful donkey
Vote for unity and decency
Keep it up, keep on thinking and writing.
Do not vote for the wrong candidate
Who stands for misogyny, division
Injustice, bigotry and aberration
Stop racism now, stop the ugly hate.
We are the conscience of the country
We stand with our brothers and sisters
We fight for justice, freedom, and liberty.
On Election Day, Poets, send flowers
Good wishes to the conscientious voters
And keep on rhyming for peace and unity.
