For I have been telling you
In my own sweet way
That I want to be with you
For each & every day

We’ve had a lot of good times
And weathered through some bad
But we were there for each other
When the other one was sad

You are the prettiest
By far & wide
But that’s only one reason
I want you by my side

Your love & devotion
To me you have shown
For now it is my turn
And my turn alone

You’re more than my friend
You’re my love and my life
And that’s why I’m asking
“Starr, Will you be my wife? ”
