Please Don't Ignore Me Poem by Natalie Salazar

Please Don't Ignore Me

Texting you, hoping to hear from you.
Thinking of what to say, hoping I'll make your day.
I just hope I say the right things.
Minutes go by and still no reply.
Why? Is everything alright?
Maybe he forgot to pay his phone bill?
Maybe he forgot his phone at home?
Maybe he lost it and can't find it?
I wonder what he thinks of me?
Does he even like me?
Please don't ignore me, at least say something.
A hi would be nice.
You always watch our videos together, so I know you think of me constantly.
If I thought of someone that many times, the moment they text I'd say something right back in seconds.
I don't know what your deal is or your reason for ignoring me so coldly.
All I want ton say is, I hope I hear from you later on today.
Don't forget I'll always be there when ever you need a helping hand.
Always remember I'll always be your one true friend.
