Finally Did It Poem by Natalie Salazar

Finally did it, I didn't think I had it in me.
Never felt this happy, miles away from my family.
I finally just did it, packed my s*** and went along with it.
Scared, nervous, didn't know what I was going to face.
The moment I got off that bus with all my luggage, I felt this peace come upon me.
My inner self told me everything is going to be ok, you got to be strong for your kids.
I look at it as a new beginning, I'm glad I made my choice that day.
I've never felt so happier in my life, I'm now with my man who I thought I lost, who I thought was gone.
Everything that I thought I lost is now here with me, in my life, by my side.
I'm glad I finally did it, cause I'm living better then ever.
