Slowly silently you came into my life
Giving me a pleasant delightful shock.
You startled me even more
as you walked in
without any intimation or a knock.

You conquered my heart and
Engulfed me into those
captivating romantic glances.
I am still lost in your beautiful world
And would not wish to come out
by luck or chance.

Stay here dear near in my heart
don’t be like an alien guest.
Would not open the doors of exit
even if you convince me softly
With your tactful diplomatic request.

Your holding my hands while talking
gives me so great comfort and delight.
I too feel like exchanging lot of words
but I forget them all
as soon as you are in my sight.

I am so happy with the news
that you plan to meet.
My response increased my heartbeats
At least this time you will surely retreat.
I hope you keep up your gentleman’s promise
And give my soul solace and delightful treat.
