Play The Keys, Sister Poem by Hebert Logerie

Play The Keys, Sister

Alicia, play the keys, play the keys
Go; go ahead, please, please, please
Play the keys again, again and again
Sing the song for all men and women
Nobody can play them better than you
You're one of the greatest among the few.

Play the song of liberty
And sing the lyrics of equality
Play the song of equality
And sing the lyrics of liberty.

Sing the words of freedom loud and clear
Sing the words of wisdom loud without fear
Sing the words of togetherness with pride
Sing, sing the lyrics loud and enjoy the ride
Nobody can fight better than our people
Nobody has suffered more than our people.

The struggle must go on, the fights must go on
Nobody is afraid to fight, we must move on
We must fight on; the battle is not over yet
Please don't stop, we must tear up the net
We will be victorious by any fricking means necessary
Life is precious and priceless. We'll fight until eternity.

Play the song of liberty
And sing the lyrics of equality
Play the song of equality
And sing the lyrics of liberty.

Play the song for equal justice
Sing the lyrics for universal peace
Play the keys again, again and again
Sing the song for all men and women
Play the song of prosperity and tolerance
And sing the words of peace and coexistence

P.S. This poem is dedicated to all of our people. Black lives matter.
