Pine Scents Flowing Like Leaves Falling Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Pine Scents Flowing Like Leaves Falling

Live and learn, taking time to be entertained in forests of
long ago, pine scents dwelling above the trees, floating down
like leaves, taking places in hearts of destiny.

All the while completing them in storms of tomorrow, musical
rhythms kicking songs like they were a game of long ago when
as children we played kick the can.

Wonder truly brightening the world around us, as we found a
hidden pathway into our futures silently, escaping shadows
of the past.

Instead, following the light beyond earth, hoping to be taken
into and through the gates of heaven in order to see God alone
at last.
