Jesus Christ was called 'King of the Jews, '
And His teachings became our 'Good News, '
Now we all can take pride,
Embrace Christ crucified,
For with death He paid all of our dues.

subject matter aside, i believe this is a very good limerick. of course, about 50 years ago i would NOT have made the...matter aside remark, as i was a good christian then. bri :)
