Perfect Moment Poem by Nightshade Starlight

Perfect Moment

Just stand back and watch.
Its a perfect moment, unraviling itself.
Stand in the back and watch it come to life.
They laugh, they sing, and its as if
They don't know I'm there.
Does everything seem right?
Had I once been apart of that?
Its strange to stand back and watch
As they enjoy the moment.
Its like no one could see a figure
Waiting in the room to be acknowledged.
Just stand back and watch
The perfect moment, that I'm missing.
So when I speak up
No one can hear the soft spoken words.
I fall onto my knees and try for someone
To notice me.
Waving my arms in front of them,
Yelling at them to look at me.
I'm missing the perfect moment,
Then again I might've never really been there.
