Pebbles Poem by Liilia Talts Morrison

Pebbles

Like pebbles in the stream of life
We’re weathered by its flow
We’re battered, bouncing to and fro
Or sucked in undertow

Sometimes we end up smooth as silk
And let the waters go
Above, below, and through our days
With old age golden glow.
