Pearl Harbor Memorial Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Pearl Harbor Memorial

Out in front of the State Capital, attending the Pearl Harbor
Memorial, Veterans everywhere, just met a gentleman who was
on the U.S. Bennington, same one Dad was on many years ago.

A solemn, but very patriotic atmosphere, all Veterans in
uniform, openly greeting people, feeling of one family here,
we're all brothers and sisters of the U.S. Military.

Words cannot possibly express the feelings running through
all of us, just being here, united and together, showing the
tremendous love we have for our country, the good Old U.S.A.
