Pathetic, Oh Pathetic Love Poem by Lily Winoto

Pathetic, Oh Pathetic Love

Rating: 5.0

Oh what sadness, Love poison...
it's killing... slowly...
Two hearts, one love, narrow winding bridge.
Ah the midst of it… huge hovering thorns.
Growing, binding and depressing
Oh what joy when they be gone
When two hearts join as one
Undisturbed, uncontrolled.
When God's will be done.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Mutual love, when it's not realized, it's killing. Mutual love with too much control will suffocate. But when God wills it be done, let it be :)
