Dare I Dream? Poem by Lily Winoto

Dare I Dream?

Dreams? Goals? Are you ready?

When as a child,

I had a dream.

To travel through space, reach the moon,

Astronaut that is.

Dream the impossible dream, equals unrealistic.

Here lies the reality.

From the moon to the office,

I mean business and companies,

Years gone by, I had another dream.

A poet, an actress, a famous star?

Dare I dream? Yes and no.

Hollywood, it’s unreachable.

Physical, it’s not possible.

And so the dream would only evolve or stay.

Stay until time and chances blend.

To dream the impossible dream!
