Path For Darkness Poem by Erika Peace

Path For Darkness

Waiting for love is like waiting for water to run dry.
You get your disappointments and your suprises, but how long can they last?
Words unspoken is like cringing at the darkness that follows, leaving you lost and desperate to go back to the past.
Heavy hearts are filled with dishonest trust;
faithful hands are touched with gods pure dust.
Dust filled with magic loading possibilities into treasured lust.
Darkness has no cure for its disease nor does it have a tag filled with a person's name or age.
Wanted desires left unfinished leaves archful rivalries over what dosen't belong.
Love is kept locked away tough to break into and hard to give up, hopes tragedies can be weaknesses strength.
Death is all but a word torn away from others leading a long and widening length.
The world has led a path for darkness turned into gifts for those who are willling to accept.
So shall i decline or take it by the hand the lord has me all in his master plan.
