Passion Gone Marriage Poem by Donna Nimmo

Passion Gone Marriage

Rating: 5.0

Two strangers passing in the night
Still in love, can this be right?
Kind words spoken, an I love you
Her sad and lonely, if only he knew

Their love bound together
She would leave him, never
Consumed by work, is it really worth it?
He's such a kind man, she will never split

Bound together by hearts and bands of gold
They hold on to forever till they grow old
Her insecurities and his passion to get ahead
They stay solemn to their oath till one is dead!

Yeah, people stick togather even when the sparks stop flying due to work and life's toll. Wonder if they find each other again.... NIce thought and well captured! Preets

It's a shame when that passion seems to disappear...consumed by everyday life...makes you wonder if it can be found again? Hugs, Dee
