Paradise With Wings Poem by Nyx C Styx

Paradise With Wings

Rating: 5.0

I sought no longer my love
that was sent from above
Instead I stopped and stayed
and though my faith unswayed
I took no step towards Paradise
and did not meet the glance in his eyes
and so those eyes roamed to another place
to another love, to another face
and still I stand, alone upon the hill
and cursing the power of my will
to await my love to come to me
when I should by his side be

Love is paradise with wings
and seeks those willing to fly
No claim to the joy it brings
if you stand idly by

'Love is paradise with wings And seeks those willing to fly' May be one of the best and most reaching definitions of love, Ever! Lovely poem, always a thrill to read this true poet.
