'Papa' Poem by Rouge Groer

'Papa'

Papa, I love you, I want to tell you that.
Your passive but you were never cold
We knew all the way how much you care for us
Thank you for all your hard-works, (you with Mom) .

Papa, thank you for all the advice
All the reminders, those pretty harsh words to discipline me
Thank you for being a father.

I am proud of you, (you with Mom)
Your being simple yet so loving
Being strict yet so caring.

Papa, I got your height
I got your instinct and your sound judgment
I got the size of your forehead: D
I got your being little slow
I got your passion in music and poems
I got a lot from you.

Papa, I am proud of you for just being you are
I thank God for everything.

Hello Ellias, thank you so much for the compliment. I've been away for quiet awhile and has not been active on poemhunter for years. It's good to read again these poems I wrote and remember how I was years before. There are also a lot of new good stuff now in poemhunter. I hope that you're also continuing being an active member. :) See you around
