Walter C. Edwards

Paired Socks

The pairing of worn out socks,
placed together to match,
tired stitches of yarn,
bounder together,
with all the elastic gone,
they go as each other does so.
and only for so long to be worn,
before they are gone,
as in the pairing no loner joined.
