The day fades, though I wish it linger
It wouldn't, so sat I with my liquor
Trying to drown myself in the noise thy silence beget,
The night is long and filled with terrors,
Lurking in its darkness are many horrors
It may be very lonely 'n' cold
I'm blue 'n' bruise.

Though the night be filled with scars,
My sky is filled with stars;
That filled my life with magic,
Magic which illuminates my night;
The poetry of your kiss
The music in your laugh
The portrait of your smile
They paint my night with stars

All around me is magic
Two souls united
Two heart singing
The music of love
Made my night true
Instead of being blue
The magic you brought
Heat up the cold night
The light in your eyes
Paint they, my night with stars.

Now I care naught
if the night be long 'n' filled with terrors
Though lurk in its shadows may be many horrors
As long as you're here,
The night is filled with magic
B'cos you paint my sky with stars
The fires in your eyes they heat up my world
As your vivacity cured my blues 'n' bruises

All around me is magic
Two souls united

The music of love
