Overlay

It would be simply called:
"Superimposition" If editing a film…
I would keep a frame or clip
Would use it as a horse in saddle
Rest would ride on the top…
I would see all pictures at same time
Memories of the past and fresh…
Of the horse and rider…

Now thinking of Saadi
His advice with the Shades of Grey comparing
Had to go through books
Among them Madame-X.

Skimmed and came along
The tales of Allan Poe.
Now I have one frame
Over one
And later, several
Story never ends
It goes on…
Came to mind Montage and
Its father, Eisenstein
And his film
Arrival of Lenin
And Tsar departing.

There we see statue
Huge, with his head tied
To the ropes and is pulled
Till it falls. I have seen
Others like Shah, Saddam.
Overlay, overlay, overlay
Not once that many times…

Yes this is how I write.
