Out Of My Life (True Story) Poem by Emily Severus

Out Of My Life (True Story)

Out of my life
Out of my life
I was your daughter
I was your wife
These things go on in my head
Making me wish that I was dead

Out of my life forever more
I'm not your husband you I will ignore
If it comes to this untastefull bliss
My heart is made of ashes I cut my wrist

Nothing can replace this love I lost
Everything will come at a cost
I loved you with everything I had
My own belongings in this cheap rugged bag
No love no not for me
This untastefull bliss makes me unhappy
The lies you told so lame so old
Pass me by so dark and cold

One of the good ways to heal such pain is to immerse in poetry. May your pen heal you back to smiles, hugs.
