Our Love Poem by Jaime Montanez Salcedo

Our Love

I have been thinking of what went wrong,
Between our love seemingly for ever,
Thus even the thought that could be not long
Never was there, for me to remember.
Let's guiltless pretense to our hearts accord,
In that incertitude and doubt did obscure
Our senses in such way we couldn't afford,
But perhaps, our thoughts were insecure,
Seemingly in our hearts there was not hope
And we were reduced to illusional dreams.
Let us meditate in how we didn't cope,
Though may be is in fate's grasp, so it seems,
But for a thing we did not fail to prove,
Is it like madness to genius, flaws to love.
