Our dates are very short, and so they'll stay.
When dates are short, the breath of love is hotter.
At night I'll be remembering the shape
Of dear face, that's not to be forgotten.

When dates are short, desire burns the vision.
This way we should take care of our peace.
This way we leave untouched this prohibition.

This way we should take our longing - slow,
Anticipation burning in the soul
And melting us as if we both were snow.
