Conscience Poem by Ayla Tulip

Conscience

Rating: 3.7

Fine. Ok. Let's stop. Let's seize it.
Let us walk against the wind.
'Life is good now.' Really? Is it?
I can see that you have grinned.
Question your hard-working conscience
What's to do and who's to blame.
Does it answer with emotions?
Has it called you a bad name.
Now let's ask the heart. Be honest.
Does it want to be awake?
Does it want to beat its strongest
Or it wants to feel a fake?
Question hands. Do they miss touches
Filled with passion that you give?
Does your body miss the raptures?
Does it want at all to live?
Are you happy with the tumour
That you're raising in your head?
Conscions speaks a lot of humour.
Laugh at it and share my bed.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

'Fine. Ok' dear poet Ayla Tulip. I give you 9+ to start with. The theme was very difficult to compose a poem. But you did it! 'Conscience speaks a lot of humour' indeed, and confuses us all. But the poet knows and 'Laugh at it'. This I like.
