Orpheus Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Orpheus

Orpheus

For years I flapped wings
-roamed around in gardens
-went and sat with roses
- (from bud to faded) :
- "I am a butterfly! "

Do we not, most of times,
-drown in selfishness?

Don't we all make mistakes?

Why do we close eye?
- (to mirrors most of all!)

Dan, myself and poet
-shared some time at table.
-lot was left to be said…

"Must read is Orpheus."
-she told me when conversed…

"What am I? " comes faintly
-on each page when reading
-Pat's poems, containing
-Sun, and Wind, and Ether,
-all around Mother Earth;
-everything, whatever!

Am I but small worm
-that glows once in life?
