ORBITUARY
(Dedicated To Fahad Ahmed Ismail - 11.01.1985 to 20.09.2008)

I miss you my dear friend...
Death made us part ways,
But your memory stays.
Those are the sweet memories of,
Innocent mischief making as children.
The painful memories during problems,
Still are fresh in my mind.

I have held your hand,
And walked miles in this journey of life.
I have clinged to you in times of need.
But all I can do today is,
Bid a silent, tearful farewell...
To the person who has meant the most to me in my life.

You leave behind a vaccum,
An emptiness within me which no one else can fill.
The future is already staring at me,
Life is already beginning to move without you...
I scream..I hold on tight...
Only to realize,
I may meet many other friends in life ahead,
You are always there.
Even in your death you remain by my side,
As my strongest support forever.

[This poem is dedicated to my best friend and fiance Fahad.He could never teach me that people don't need to be with each other to love them.He stayed in Islamabad and I was in Lahore.I always complained that we get such little time with each other compared to others around us who are courting.But today when he has gone so far that he can never return from there, I feel that he is closer.The distance doesnt seem to bother me anymore.I feel him beside me constantly.Fahad, something which you couldnot teach me when you were alive, in your death I've learnt that lesson.This poem is dedicated to you for all those years we have been together.For 20 years of our friendship.PS- I love you.]
