Only One Poem by Scott Salmon

Only One

When you tell a man you love him,
He may not love you back,
If he is true and sweet on you,
He will take a certain track,

If you say you're in love with him,
But love as well his brother,
You should pray that they will stay,
Apart from one another,

If you have another man,
And not in love with him,
You can bet without regret,
They'll do each other in,

Now everybody knows this,
We learned while in high school,
To show surprise with widened eyes,
Are the actions of a fool,

When you choose to lie about,
The matters of the heart,
Its just unfair so do take care,
Expect a fued to start,

One hundred million people,
You only love a few,
Keep in mind to them be kind,
Or they may hate on you,

There's only on responsible,
When two are loved with lies,
It's guaranteed you wont succeed,
Expect complete demise,

Conclusions yes I have one,
Two lovers in your bed,
Refuse to chose and all will loose,
With the damage on your head.
