One man army-Bapu

One-man army
he led the country
so remove the slavery
for freedom and liberty

"Naked fakir" as they called him
but hehad full faith Him
he stood for the truth
he took it for himself and needed no proof

he carried millions behind
only to find
the people wanting peaceful breathe
but faced the cruelty and deaths

the Britishers never wanted to leave
but they couldn't live
amidst stiff resistance from indian people
who had waged a long struggle

cry not over hard-earned freedom
it was done with the wisdom
take care to see that it is not snatched away
either by the hostile forces or far away snatchers
