One Fine Day Poem by Monica Melissano

One Fine Day

Rating: 4.7

I wont give up
until we'll be sitting quietly
under a tree
in pale sunlight
staring in each other's eyes.

I wont give up
until I hear your voice
telling all the stories left untold
in peace
no regrets and no remorse.

I wont give up
until I open
the shell
in which you hide
emotions and connections.

Because
from a spring of emotions and connections
the river of inspiration flowed.
And there's no other way.

Lovely piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely penned. I concur with your conviction: from a string of emotions and connections the river of inspiration flowed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.

Thank you so much Chinedu, we have to hold on to our convinctions even when others do their best to deny them. It's the lesson in your beautiful poem too, how much energy and passion in it! I loved it!
