On The Surface Of A Glimmer Of Hope Poem by Cynthia Bienose

On The Surface Of A Glimmer Of Hope

Rating: 5.0

I stood waiting for a smiling tomorrow
Swimming in the endless mud of uncertainties
my strength and passion to elope
The pace of life, I could not follow
For I was drawning in my fears
Suffocating in my insecurities
But that was the age of an empty hope
Those day when the sun was too scared to rise and shine
Those moments when the rain was too shy to shed tears
And night refused day its place
NOW! ! !
All I do is smile, smile and smile no matter what.
Today is all mine

I must admit it that I have not witness such freshness of imagery since long. I am so happy to read the poem, particularly the following lines: I stood waiting for a smiling tomorrow / Swimming in the endless mud of uncertainties /..... For I was drowning in my fears. Full of optimism. Many many thanks.
