On The Joy Of Being A Mom Poem by Dr John Celes

The joy of bringing forth a child is great;
No words describe the experience at all;
But human beings shouldn't decide its fate,
For God alone can give a living doll!

But Eve alone can go through womanhood;
Yes, labour pains can scare her for some hours;
Yet, procreation, God made for our good;
And children are true wealth which we call ours!

Creation works through mankind's choice afree;
God's grace and blessings work a miracle;
What joy, a child can give its parents, see!
God raises women to this pinnacle.

The baby's cry will drown the woman's cry!
The mother smiles, forgetting all the pain;
And joy fills hearts - relatives, friends near-by;
The gift of children is mankind's prime gain.

So, thank the Lord who helps us do these feats;
The Life-giver will bless those who deserve;
For moments, labour-pains increase heart- beats;
But this is how we humans, God must serve!

"Happy Delivery! God bless the child and parents! "
