A study vakrokti and vyangya,
Wit and humour
And wit or
Different from all these

A poem about the family matter
Is it,
The mother forbidding the son
To cut the champak trees
Full of yellow blooms
Whom the gods and the daughters
Love they so much
But the son asking to cut
As for her severe headache
Caused by the pollen hanging around
The atmosphere,
Scent so heavy upon,
Thickening the air

What should it be done,
Should it be cut or not
As the mother likes it not,
Flowers too should be there
As for beautification, decoration,
Our sense and sensibility
So environment-friendly,
The relationship between man and trees,
Can it be cut down?
