On Reading Kate Chopin's The Night Came Slowly(Two Poems Written Under The Impact)

The night came slowly enchanting me with the small seulis fragrancing me,
The bunches of cchatims hanging by the tree-branches,
Flowery white kaaminis
Taking me to the corridors of memory, thought and reckoning,
I going by the lonely way of life
Under a starful skies twinkling mysteriously
Telling of the myth and mystery of creation,
History of man, history of time
Wrapped under and muffled,
Did anybody call me from behind?

-------

A lonely woman
Under a lonely night
With the star twinkling up above,
How will she pass the night?
As I can see them, the drunken men whispering
In the dark.
