On Earth Day, Thought I About The World
On Earth Day,
Thought I about the world,
The fate of man
And the world.
Took it not easy,
Thought I about so seriously
Transporting me from a joyous state
To a state of reflection.
Soon the thoughts overtook me one by one
Global warming, acid rain,
Atomic summer ruffling it all,
Threatening our existence.
