On Bended Knees Poem by Eleonor Santiago

On Bended Knees

On bended knees I find my strength
On folded hands my soul finds rest
Thou art my refuge in times I'm weak
My knees enfold your words I seek
Thou art my honor my beauty my Lord
You carry me when life seems cold
Thy faith unending when my ends told
Thy blessings poured on my abode
Thy heart grew hunger for my calls
Thy heard my whispers when life falls
Oh God I can not ask for more
You are more than enough to make me whole
I worship you my knees enfold
Bowing in your glory
Thank you for saving my soul
