How I’d love to see Dr. John once more
Why, he’s the nicest guy you could meet
His smile sincerely lights up the room
And he’s thoughtful and so very sweet

I hope his lovely wife doesn’t mind
If I put him on top of my list of friends
Why, I would hug him at the dropp of a hat
I’d probably hear snickers and see a few grins

For the Spanish Cove folks are truly
The nicest people you would find anywhere
Their sweet personalities are such
They make you really and truly care

Route 66 was such a fun time because
The ‘other’ John took us on a delightful tour
Seeing the sights and meeting folks
Ah yes, I’ll remember it always for sure

Okay, so now you know, my friends
Doctor John is one of my favorite guys
But I have met many others, of course
Under those wonderful Oklahoma skies!
