Of Not Said Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Of Not Said

Of not said

Iranian by my birth
My heart is everywhere.

In times Sun comes first
And, in times Moon
Both are there.

Born in midst of mountains
I was raised as eagles of the heights
Saw on land hardworking men, women
As lovers flirting with mother, Mother Earth
Lust in times, and fear other times!

I was and still am intertwined with Iran
She rented the two rooms; mind and heart
And sheltered in my veins, to nerves, thoughts.

So reading him being in Coma!
"He? " Moved me very hard!

I know him…a mullah,
They were five,
United they founded a party, "Islamic Republic"
Their most known "Beheshti"
And rest were:
Rafsanjani, Bahonar, Khamenei Ardebili!

They came to use our mosque
I opposed and fought them horn in horn
"How can you? " asked dogmas:
"They are paid by Imam; for expense."
(Forty percent)
I stood against him, the Imam:
"If so he steals it from us, the people! ! !
Party is not nation!
Shall not get anything from the Beit-ol-Mal! "

I have been on the run;
Still with single shirt; pay the price:
"I am right and resist."
What about Five-Devils? Two are killed and the two remaining visited the dying.

A fascinating autobiography, you pour your life and your history into a tale of challenges, this is the most honest self portrait that I have ever read. I do not know what it is like to be exiled from ones own nation, but you speak with intensity it manifests through the soul. You stood by your convictions without falling to fear, that makes a good human being. A great work, peace be onto you.

Thank you dear...your comment is so promising that takes me back to South Africa and when Gandhi put his British passport in fire....
