Ode To Lois Lane Poem by Sally Dupre

Ode To Lois Lane

I have an old cat,
she's deaf and she's slow.
you might just step on her,
watch out where you go.
she eats all day long and forgets that she did...
meows day and night for that 'pop'of a lid.
She will crawl on you when you just want a quick nap,
and when your awake she falls asleep in your lap.
a mess when she eats, a grouch to the touch,
trips you when you walk, that old such and such!
But I still recall in her hey-day, you see,
she could catch any mouse and zip up any tree.
And when she is gone, we will miss her sweet face.
Lois Lane was a feline of personality and grace.
