Oceans Poem by Joelle Ramee

Oceans

The waves crash against her heart
Calming storms, they foam the waters
The wandering child of feather and peace
Ye tossed toward raging waters
A shield of light in tormenting darkness
Swept up is she gone?
No, simply swimming through the sea of life

What keeps her going?
What gives her stength?

Words flud her mind yet she supresses them
She remembers!
The seas will calm
Life will go on
Trust, love, kindness

She thinks of these
A feather drops toward the ripple of ease
Her actions will be remembered
The sun will smile in understanding
As will the others

Long after her time
