Our Little Flowers Poem by Joelle Ramee

Our Little Flowers

Our little flowers
Times of happiness times of fear
Times of regret and times of tears
We all have them deep inside
Of our fear they lay in hide
We hide them from a personal fear
For the sake of our peers
In times of confusion to them we turn
To see how much they have bloomed
They are hidden from the eye
Though they hold your soul inside
Memories hidden in the sand
A pebble of onyx sunk through the lands
Our true selves why do we hide
From those we admire on the inside
Is it fear of rejection?
Or merely something not to be seen
Anyhow they are there
Our seeds of love and tender care
Our moments we treasure most
Are of little petals of those times, our personal little flowers
